Cherished Events offers a unique, personalised service for your Wedding Planning, Co-Ordination, Function and Event.

Cherished Events owner Cherie Rauch is accredited with the Industry professional associations such as WPAA (Wedding Planners Association of Australia), has gained 2010 Silver Membership level through ABIA (Australian Bridal Industry Academy), holds high level qualifications with TAFE Diploma of Event Management and TAFE Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management and continues to work within professional Industry networks.

Cherished Events is truly unique as we provide so much more than just being a "Wedding Planner" as our service is customised to each couple. We can offer as much or as little as you desire and and work with the couple in preparations, leading up, there on the day and even past the honeymoon.

Our primary aim to ensure your day is as stress free as possible, assist with preparations, research and gather new ideas / alternatives, liase with suppliers / venues, staffing, confirm all arrangements, handle "unexpected" items complete with our unique emergency kit, provide constant guidance and advice. Our motto "What you need, When you need it" shows your can trust our expertise and advice.

Cherished Events have recently added the Cherished Wedding Sitter for children - a qualified child care worker who will keep the children occupied whilst parents can relax, and children can make their own teddy bear at the wedding, and take home such a wonderful treasured momento.

Kirsty & Mick Crozzoli (nee Lamrock) hired Cherie Rauch from Cherished Events as their Wedding Planner for their wedding day on 17 April 2010. Here's what they had to say:

 "Dear Cherie,

We just wanted to say a huge thankyou for your help and support in the past 6 months that has helped make our wedding truly amazing and stress free.

No matter how many phone calls, emails or meetings at any time of the day or night and even public holidays (sorry) you were always calm professional and had an answer to any question we had or were able to reassure us that everything would work out.

I know you always say that you can’t quite describe exactly what you do but I have tried to.

You are their with the questions I forgot to ask when we meet with vendors and suppliers, and to haggle and see if we can get a better price.

You are their to take photos of all the small details at the menu tasting, hair and make up trials to ensure that we get exactly what we paid for on the day.You are their researching the internet for information on some last minute “brilliant idea” I have come up with.You are their to make sure brides and grooms don’t have arguments with their families in the lead up to the big day.

You are their to make sure the venue is exactly how we want it, even if that means having to go and help set it up.

You are their as a chauffer, chef, courier, seamstress, crowd control, stress release.

  You are their as a wedding planner but we like to think you are now a friend.

  Most of all you helped make this fantastic day that we become husband and wife stress and worry free, without your  help, knowledge and patience I doubt it would have been the same.

  It is for all this we will be eternally grateful.
